Welcome to a site designed to help
me find a horse that meant a lot to me, and a memorial to all
those pets who have lost their lives. Her name was Dreaming Dakota
aka Dakota and she's a Quarter Horse/Arabian mare about 18 years old
now. 15 hands tall, sorrel/roan with 3 socks, a blaze, and a large
snip. Her lower lip is completely white. She also has a white patch
of hair on her right shoulder near the end of her mane. Dakota was sold to Carl and Linda
Radinski (possibly Radinsky?) who was boarding other horses at the
Penrose Equestrian Center in Colorado Springs, CO; on September 9,
1995.
HAVE YOU
SEEN
ME???
LQQK!!!
Dakota absolutely
HATED to be
ridden bareback and having unbalanced weight on her front feet.
This would cause her to buck if either occurred. However, she had fun
biting cattle when herding or team penning. Below is the only
full-body picture I have of her. I would love to buy her
back, but would settle for just seeing how she's doing. I fear she
was sold to the "killers." I apologize in advance for the POOR quality
of the picture below but it's all I have...
PLEASE,
ANY
information on this horse would be greatly appreciated. Whether it be
her last known location, siting, or whatever. I miss her and would
love to hear how she's doing if nothing else.
UPDATE:
An anonymous person thought they had seen Dakota in Minnesota. Please
contact me about this siting! My email is posted below or just write
